DAX Optimizer charges for the analysis of the models. A single analysis of a model is called "run". You can pay based on Consumption (every run counts) or you can have a subscription with multiple runs per day on a limited number of models.

An active model is a model that can be analyzed, whereas inactive models are read-only and cannot be analyzed. Some licenses limit the number of active models you can have simultaneously. When you reach the limit, you can deactivate a model to make room for a new one.

DAX Optimizer can analyze models created with tools such as Power BI Service, Desktop, and Analysis Services.
However, the Desktop license can only analyze models created with and stored in Power BI Desktop, while the other licenses do not have such limitations.

While we do not currently provide a formal trial period, we invite you to explore the capabilities of DAX Optimizer by creating an account. As part of this experience, you can access sample models that showcase the features and functionalities available within the platform.

Yes, you can pay by bank/wire transfer, but only for yearly subscriptions or a bundle of runs.
